Introducing Oracle Insights for EPM Cloud: Automating Data Analysis for FP&A

In November 2021, Oracle added a new feature to the EPM Cloud for Finance – specific data pattern detection. It is designed to dramatically reduce time spent on data analysis by surfacing hard-to-find patterns like anomalies, forecast bias, and prediction variance. This session will introduce the feature, cover important implementation considerations, present case studies of customer adoption, and cover the exciting roadmap for the future of the Insights engine.

Marc Seewald is a vice president of product management at Oracle Corporation and has 20+ years of experience in enterprise performance management. He has in-depth experience across both the Financial Close and Planning domains, and he has worked with numerous Global 2000 companies. Marc joined Oracle in 2011 and leads Oracle EPM Planning, Profitability, and Tax capability. Prior to joining Oracle, he was vice president of product management at Longview Solutions, a North American-based EPM software company.
